Meet Dr. Jennifer Lavesa-Cesana

Dr. Lavesa-Cesana graduated with honors from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central High School in 1983.

She graduated from SUNY-Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and earned her M.D. degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, where she received the Cor Et Manus community service award.

Dr. Lavesa-Cesana worked as a General Practitioner in the British National Health Service and achieved Membership of the Royal Academy of General Practice. She now enjoys serving her home community as a primary care Family Physician.

Dr. Lavesa-Cesana is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

She is affiliated with the Rome Memorial Hospital, St Elizabeth Medical Center, and Oneida Health Systems, Inc.

Dr. Lavesa-Cesana completed her residency in Family Practice at the Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute in Kingston, NY, and was awarded the LISZ Foundation Award for Outstanding Participation in Community Practice.

She then served on the faculty of the residency program before relocating to England with her husband while he pursued his doctorate and career in Biochemical Pharmacology.
